when theres a new polling booth
in the event box is should say u have a new polling booth
example:
event(1)
open

a new polling booth has arrive check it out and vote for the best

Like someone said above, there's a 'star'/'*' next to the Polling Booth when there's a new/updated poll.
No point sending events, otherwise inactive accounts will have loads of events by the time in a few years time, they'd have like 100+.

I say no, it is so annoying when you get a new event, like your friend sent you 5 coins. And you can just see the *, not open your events and say, "oh I knew that" also with the inactive accounts, with their events over 100, the game might get slower.
