It was decided a long time ago that the rate would be 30 times it's GC price because you have a 1 in 30 chance of getting a shiny GC legendary. I'm unsure if this is still the rate but that's what it used to be.
12,500 x 30 = 375,000 :O

the rate is definatly not that much...thats a fair way to figure it out but no one would trade that much for one.
