My idea is that you can sell multiple amounts of items at one go, so say you had 3 water stones, and wanted to sell them for 3 coins each, you could sell them all for 9 coins, this would save time and also keep the market less clustered as people who sell lots of poke balls would only take up one slot instead of 100's.
