You might do better auctioning it. 3k coins is a lot for just 15.625 billion XP on a pretty common pokemon. That'd equate to a training rate of 192 coins per billion. You'd actually be lucky if you can net 500 coins on it.
Edit: Well now that we know it's got toxic, that's a really good deal ^_^ I'd actually buy, but I don't have anywhere close to 3k coins :P
