Bubbles smiled.

Meanwhile Gem and Finn were talking.

(It's kinda hard, controlling two characters at once! XD)
"So, just kinda curious, but when is your birthday?" Gem asked Finn.

"Um April 23rd." Finn replied.
"Why?"

"Well, I was thinking I'd find out everyone's birthday, so then I can make a huge celebration for them!" Gem replied happily.

"Well that's so thoughtful of you!" Finn gushed.

Gem pulled out a clipboard out of nowhere.
"Let's see... So far I have..." She was muttering to herself. "73!" She said, raising her head happily. She then looked back down and wrote something on the clipboard. "Sorry, I just added your birthday. Now I have 74!"

Finn laughed.
"If you want to know them, Goldy's birthday is May 7th, and Beauty's is November 12th." Finn told.

"Alright... Now I have 75..." Gem said.
"Don't you mean 76?" Finn asked.
"Pft, you think Goldy's birthday counts?" Gem asked, grinning.

Finn burst out laughing.

"Alright, fine, SEVENTY-FIVE AND A HALF." Gem said, shaking with laughter.

Finn couldn't control himself.
"h-how about *laugh* Seventy-f-five a-and *laugh* NO HALF!" Finn stuttered, because he was laughing too hard.

Soon enough Gem and Finn were laughing so hard they were on the ground, laughing STILL.
"What're you laughing about?" A voice said. Gem and Finn froze. That was the voice of the grumpy old janitor!

"Oh, nothing." Finn said getting up, and helping Gem up.

"Thanks." Gem said, and they looked into each other's eyes for a long time.
"Eh, come on! Get back to the dance!" The janitor growled, sweeping at their feet to get them moving.
