OK, so I have to choose in learning either Javascript or C#. But I am confused which one to learn.
Upon a glance, C# looks much neater and easier than Javascript, when I saw two codes that do same thing, one of C# and one of Javascript.

But, at the same time, I have heard people saying that Javascript is much more powerful and opens more possibilites which won't be there in C#.

So, what do you think, which one should I pick?

Well this is a classic problem, simplicity over power. It depends on what you plan to do. If you plan on working on small things such as simple computer games, I would learn C#. If you're looking for something that is used on a bigger standard, such as javascript, as it is used in most major browsers while I've never even heard of C#, then you would want to do Javascript.

So in a nutshell, it all depends what you are looking for.

I just found another difference, C# will keep me limited to Windows, while Javascript will give me options of more platforms. In that case, Javascript seems to be the best option for me!
