prevent skipping pokemon on map
How about get your characters stun when a pokemon appears and give option if want pass or catch pokemon?A lot of pokemon are just skipped when move on map.

If you want to pass the pokemon, simply keep moving. If you move, you ignore the pokemon, why is it even needed?

I mean that pokemon are skipped accidently just not allow do further steps until choose either catch or skip.

oh, that wouldn't work either, if pokemon is skipped, its your fault. wild pokemon won't wait until you choose to skip him or battle him.

Yes press the arrow button, reach a good pokemon and character move a step further than you excpect and lose it. :S

Tbh if you just wait until it loads instead of pressing tons of times you should be fine.

Giving a alert when wild pokemon show is not good idea, that way will make catch pokemon to easy

I use a 3DS, most of the time, I can't even SEE the Pokemon I encounter, Making catching near impossible for me...

Like others have said, if you miss the pokemon, then it is your fault. Take your time walking through the map. If you don't have the patience, then stop.

I do believe I can make a compromise for this....

A feature should be added that gives us to option to prevent us from moving without confirmation if a pokemon appears
The menu for this option would include the following:
-Confirm for Shinies
-Confirm for [selection box of pokemon available on the map]

no need, just don't rush clicking the arrows, it will just make the maps more boring as you have to click a lot before you can walk, 0/10.
