As we all know, this tedious mini-game is one where you continuously click a button to generate a random water pokemon and a random number.

The pokemon you reel in has no effect on what number you get
You could get 32,000 points on a magikarp and on 200 on a Wailord

My suggestion is one that would make use of the pokemon reel in

If you get in the top 3, you get to keep the pokemon you reeled in

nope, i think it will not be fair, because you can also get kyurem and suicune on that mini-game, so that will ruin the entire game, sorry but it isn't a good idea.

very bad idea, also not all the pokemon you reeled in the minigame are out in the RPG..

Actually, the Pokemon does affect your chances. The stronger the Pokemon in the real Pokemon games, the higher the chances at getting a higher score with it. And 0/10, those are for special events such as with CursedDeoxys.

I agree that it isnt the greatest idea, but it's not a bad start to something. It would be kinda ridiculous if everyone was winning kyurems and suicines, but maybe if you had a chance to battle these pokemon in order to be able to keep them? But then again, high lvl people could probably just beat them.
