Keeps saying "needs at least 12 characters" and deleting my text. I've tried shortening the post, but it's still not working

Were you using special characters like the e with an accent mark like in Pokemon? For whatever reason, it doesn't let you post with special characters like that. :L That could be the problem.

No. It clearly says 12 characters or more. I was well over 12. That wasn't the issue.
I checked the accent and that wasn't an issue either. Odd... I'll come back and edit my post if it works this time
