Why Base rather than Unbase?
Why are base pok_mon better than unbase? Is it because base pok_mon can be Random Swapped? Or is it so you know that they havn't been tampered with? Because I have no idea. I have a lot to learn

Mostly because everyone can trade base Pokemons. If it's unbase say 1000+ level, not all the trainer's can trade it because of trade cap.

Well, first of all, as Elite said, everyone can trade base Pokemon, since the minimal trade cap is lv 500.
The other reason is that they're worth more since, as you put it, they haven't been tampered with. Think about it. Take something you can get such as a video game or a comic book. The unopened ones are worth more since they're still factory sealed and all that, since most people who get a video game or comic book or whatever play/read/etc it right away. It's harder to get. I hope that explained it fairly well. XD
